It is amazing to live in a hostel, which teaches us more about people and ourselves. The life in the hostel is such that it helps us realize our responsibilities and open up our inter-personal side and also awards us with friends to stay for a lifetime.

My interests lie in music, singing, computers, technology, programming, web & graphics design, web development and photography. I also used to watch a lot of cricket when I was in Kolkata, but now I seldom get to keenly catch up with the developments of the cricket world.

Before Engineering
I spent 19 years of my life in Kolkata, where I did my schooling from The Park English School(till class 10) followed by The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society School. My first PC was bought for me by my dad when I was in class 9. Although I learnt a bit of DOS, MS Office and HTML in the past, but this is when my actual learning curve in computers began. In class 11, I had seen the face of programming for the first time, and fell very much into it. Talking about that reminds me of my C++ tutor in Kolkata for a year, Surojit Sir. He was the one who instilled programming into me, and I am(or rather my programming skills are) missing him a lot in my engineering years. But then, that is how life is…
